Accountant - Banbridge

MCS Group is partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an Accountant to join their finance function based in Banbridge.

The Company:

Our client is a successful and established organisation with a strong presence in Northern Ireland. As part of the continued development of their finance function, they are seeking a qualified Accountant to support the preparation of management accounts, financial analysis, budgeting and wider commercial decision-making.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join an established finance team and gain broad exposure across financial accounting, project performance and business partnering.

  • £50,000 - £55,000 base salary + extensive benefits package
  • Opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller and wider senior management team
  • Broad commercial exposure across a growing organisation
  • Office based with early finish on Friday

The Role:

As the successful Accountant, you will:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis
  • Monitor project performance, costs, margins and profitability, providing commercial insight
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and departmental financial reviews
  • Business partner with department managers to support informed decision-making
  • Support tax, compliance, audit requirements and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Other duties as outlined in the full job description

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Strong financial accounting, analytical and commercial skills
  • Strong communication & stakeholder management experience
  • Strong IT and excel skills
