Accountant Role in Brighton

This role is based in a professional services organisation located in Brighton.
Description
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Provide financial advice and insights to stakeholders.

Profile
A successful Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA or CIMA)
- Post qualification experience (2-3 years)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse financial data and present clear insights.
- Effective communication skills for working with stakeholders
