MacGregor Black is proud to partner with a privately owned accountancy to recruit an Accountant for a permanent position based in the Wakefield area, with the option to work remotely one day per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing Annual Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns
- Completing Self-Assessment Tax Returns
- Managing Bookkeeping and overseeing payroll functions
- Assisting with Company Start-Ups and advising on financial processes
- Producing Management Accounts and supporting business forecasting

What we’re looking for?
- A qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation and financial compliance
- Proficiency in accountancy software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
- Excellent communication skills to build strong client relationships
- A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a problem-solving mindset
