Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Sileby. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, prepare and review accounts, and manage invoices, bank reconciliations, and financial records for a portfolio of clients. Typical tasks include:

- Preparing tax returns
- Supporting VAT and payroll processing
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations
- Producing accurate financial reports
- Assisting with budgeting and cash flow management
- Answering client queries in a clear, professional manner

The Accountant will also collaborate with colleagues to streamline processes and improve the overall quality of service provided to clients.
Qualifications
- Experience with accounts preparation, and financial reporting, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of tax compliance, including personal and business tax, VAT, and payroll procedures.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide practical recommendations.
- Clear, professional communication skills for explaining financial information to clients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple client files, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a busy on-site environment.
- Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, or equivalent) or comparable experience in practice or industry.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
