Role Description
The Accountant will work on-site at the Nottingham office in a full-time capacity, supporting a variety of clients with their accounting and tax needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves:
- Completing VAT returns
- Assisting with tax computations
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and reporting standards
The Accountant will communicate directly with clients to gather information, explain financial data, and respond to queries.
Requirements
- Experience with tax-related work, such as VAT returns, personal and corporate tax calculations, and awareness of current UK tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and office tools (e.g., cloud-based accounting platforms, spreadsheets, and general productivity software).
- Effective communication and client service skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly and build professional relationships.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple client deadlines.
- Relevant professional qualification or progression or part-qualified (e.g., AAT, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) and prior experience in practice or a similar accounting environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, demonstrate integrity and confidentiality, and adapt to changing client and regulatory requirements.
