Location: Across the island of Ireland — office-based in Belfast, minimum 3 days a week

Everlough Holdings is a multi-entity organisation spanning technology, intelligence, and digital services through its subsidiaries DataDirect (DataDirect Intelligence and DataDirect Technology) Funteron, our new hotel and others in addition to supporting The Eddie Jordan Foundation (a registered charity). Headquartered in Belfast with operations across Northern Ireland, Great Britain, and the Republic of Ireland, the Group is led by Founder & Chairman Keith O'Loughlin.

The Role

We're looking for a newly qualified accountant to join our finance team. This is a great first step after qualification. You'll get hands-on experience across day-to-day accounting, month-end and reporting, with support from an experienced CFO who will help you develop. This role is to support our business in hospitality and information technology industry.

What You'll Do

  • Help prepare the monthly management accounts and support the year-end process.
  • Post journals, accruals and prepayments.
  • Complete bank, supplier, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Reconcile daily takings from a hotel, including card, cash and point-of-sale (POS) reports.
  • Process transactions in sterling, euro and other currencies, and help with intercompany accounting between group companies.
  • Prepare simple weekly and monthly reports on sales, costs and margins.
  • Answer finance questions from hotel managers.
  • Work with accounts payable to make sure invoices are approved and paid on time.
  • Suggest ways to make our processes faster and more accurate using Excel and other tools.

What We're Looking For

  • Recently qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or finishing your final exams).
  • Some experience from a training contract, audit, or an accounts role.
  • Good knowledge of reconciliations, journals and month-end basics.
  • Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
  • Good attention to detail and a careful, organised approach.
  • Clear communication skills and comfortable working with non-finance colleagues.
  • An interest in hospitality or international business is a bonus.
  • Eligibility to work in Northern Ireland.
