The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are looking for an Accountant - Accounts Payable to join the Finance Team. This role will be instrumental in successfully creating an effective and paperless Account Payable function through next-generation systems, setting The Peninsula London and its Finance Team as the future of hospitality.

Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for all aspects of The Peninsula London accounts payable, including the reconciliation of invoices vs purchase orders and received items and the monthly preparation of accruals.
- Assist the Finance Leadership in ensuring compliance with HSH Finance related policies and procedures.
- Cross-train with the other Accountants to ensure smooth coverage of all related accounting functions during holidays.
- Support for the month-end process, including monthly financial statements preparation, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Participate in any task necessary to achieve the property's goals and the highest levels of compliance and efficiency.

General Requirements
- 1-2 year accounting experience in hospitality-residential environment
- Understanding of the various Accounting Functions. Extensive experience in Accounts Payable with the ability to manage a complex tax and contractual environment.
- High level of integrity, detail-oriented with strong organizational and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
