At Duncan & Toplis, we’re continuing to invest in our people and services as part of an ambitious period of growth. We’re now looking for a Business Services Adviser who wants to play a meaningful role in delivering high-quality client outcomes and developing their career in a forward-thinking environment.
This opportunity is ideal for someone currently working in Accountancy Practice who is looking for greater exposure, responsibility, and long-term progression.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work on delivering fully drafted sets of accounts with complete working papers, developing client relationships, and training and reviewing work of team members. You will be supporting a diverse client base while developing both your technical and commercial skills.

- Collaborate closely with senior leaders
- Encouraged to take ownership, build relationships, and add value to clients from day one
Key areas of focus may include:
- Complete all relevant sections of the working papers and sign off relevant job stages
- Identifying key issues or changes for the manager to review
- Keeping technical knowledge up to date in key areas; this may be financial but also sector-specific
- Information from clients obtained successfully
- Assisting with progression of team members
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified in the relevant field(s) - either by qualification or experience
- Strong UK Accountancy Practice experience
- Technical capability with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous development
- Ambition to grow and progress within a supportive environment
