Job Description
Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, payments to suppliers and employees’ expenses
- Preparation and analysis of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records and documentation
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, financial accounts
- Support the finance team in conducting financial analysis and providing insights for decision-making
- Preparation of payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy of data
- Prepare financial statements and reports for year-end audits and regulatory filings
- Lead and assist with yearly Financial Audit
- General accounts administration such as dealing with correspondence, filing and updating records
- Deal with Deposits and Withdrawals for both Clients and Liquidity Partners
- Assist on monitoring of regulations and legal policies, including running reports on Sanctions against individuals and countries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve compliance issues or violations
- Manage the daily funding requirements and cash allocation processes to ensure strict segregation between firm funds and client money
- Prepare precise data sets and transaction samples for the annual external CASS audit, ensuring zero major dynamic findings
- Conduct the end-to-end compilation, validation, and monthly submission of the Client Money and Asset Return (CMAR) to the FCA for a CASS Medium firm
- Conduct rigorous due diligence and ongoing CASS oversight reviews on external banking partners and custodians, verifying the validity of all Acknowledgement Letters
- Identify and log operational CASS breaches, implementing root-cause corrections that reduced repeating discrepancies
- Execute the daily Internal Client Money Reconciliation (ICMR) using the individual Client Balance method / Net Negative Add-Back method, successfully matching the client money requirement against internal cashbooks
- Perform daily external reconciliations across client bank accounts, verifying internal accounting ledgers against physical bank statements and clearing houses to ensure matching resource data

- At least 4+ years experience in Bookkeeping/ Financial Administration/ Treasury Operations
- Proven ability to perform and review daily internal and external CASS reconciliations, accurately determining client money shortfall or excess calculations and ensuring timely transfer of funds
- ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Proficiency in identifying, logging, and investigating CASS issues, maintaining the regulatory breach register, and escalating compliance risks
- Ability to act as a clear, confident, and articulate point of contact during FCA supervisory inquiries, CASS audits, and regulatory information requests, presenting technical compliance data and complex financial workflows clearly and accurately
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the presence and clarity required to represent the firm before external regulators and internal audits
