About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support our day-to-day financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, supporting payroll and reporting activities, and helping ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including invoicing, payments, accounts payable/receivable, and bookkeeping.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and supporting documentation.
- Support payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with applicable tax requirements.
- Review and process internal approval forms and related financial documentation.
- Prepare and support financial reports, reconciliations, and analysis as required.
- Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in Canada.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA designation is preferred.
- Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Mandarin language skills are considered an asset.

Work Schedule
- Flexible Language Requirement: French not required
- Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
