We are seeking to hire a Qualified Accountant in our Cork City office, role commencing early December 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Adhere to all compliance deadlines
  • Management of multiple jobs ensuring the key objectives are delivered as required and in a timely manner
  • Dealing with client queries
  • Dealing with own portfolio of clients
  • Managing a small team

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in practice accounting environment.
  • Ability to bring accounts to completion is essential
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation and capability of working on your own initiative and with others
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in the use of Sage Accounts Production, Bright Pay, Tax Pro and Auto Entry
  • Experience of VAT, PAYE, RCT, IT and CT returns
