Accountant – Healthcare - Edinburgh
This role is based in Edinburgh, UK. You will be required to be onsite 2 days each week

Based in Edinburgh, this role will support our manufacturing operations in Ireland and play a key part in delivering high-quality accounting support. Responsibilities will include fixed asset accounting, system reconciliations, and a range of general accounting activities. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a fast-paced, international environment while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Where you come in:
- Support fixed asset accounting activities, including asset tracking, capitalisation, and reporting.
- Develop expertise in our CAPEX project accounting module.
- Build strong partnerships with project teams to ensure capital projects are accurately reflected in the financial records.
- Perform detailed balance sheet and system reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Provide financial analysis and support to the Tax team to facilitate accurate tax compliance and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen controls.
- Assist in maintaining robust financial systems, policies, and procedures that support SOX compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Play an active role in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality financial information to support business decision-making.
What makes you successful:
- Prior background in a financial accounting role.
- Part-qualified accountant (desirable).
- Oracle or other major ERP system experience.
- Experience working with different currencies and jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills including advanced excel skills.
- Self-starter with a proven track record of multi-tasking abilities and meeting deadlines.

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
- Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
