Accountant Position
This Accountant position focuses on managing financial records and ensuring compliance within the insurance sector. You'll play a key part in overseeing day-to-day financial operations and supporting the organisation's financial health.
Client Details
We are continuing our work with a top-tier insurance organisation based in the City of London.
Description
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards in the insurance sector.
- Reconcile accounts and manage financial discrepancies effectively.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other statutory filings.
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

Profile
A Successful Accountant Should Have
- Part-Qualified or studying towards ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
- Experience working within the insurance sector is essential.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Permanent role with clear progression.
