Role Description
The Accountant role at iConsult.Business is a full-time, on-site position based in Tadworth. In this role, the Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including maintaining accurate general ledger records, processing invoices, preparing journal entries, and reconciling bank and account statements. The individual will prepare financial reports, assist with budgeting and forecasting, support month-end and year-end close, and help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights that support business decision-making and client success. The role also involves responding to financial queries, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage core accounting tasks such as general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliations.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, management reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet tools, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in financial data entry, and effective time management.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Tadworth, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain professional client-facing conduct.
- Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in a similar accounting role is highly beneficial.
- You do not need to be living in the UK. Must be legal to work in UK and have all the necessary paperwork to do so, and availability to support our customer base.
- Work is 100% REMOTE.
- NDA will be signed, NON COMPETE and other agreement as per required also.
