This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Saltcoats. The Accountant will oversee the accounts team as well as prepare and analyse financial statements, manage tax returns for individuals and businesses. Responsibilities also include providing advice to clients on business planning, managing accounts for various entities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Interaction with clients and delivering exceptional service is a vital aspect of the role.

Qualifications
- Experience in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and charities and reviewing same.
- Strong knowledge of digital tax solutions and financial compliance regulations
- Ability to provide strategic guidance on business start-up, planning, and company secretarial services
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused outlook
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with adaptability to learn new systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) is desirable
- Prior experience in an accountancy practice is required.
