Can you help Black and ethnic minority communities improve financial literacy confidence by helping to create an emergency funds and how to create a budgeting spreadsheet with online mentoring.
What difference will you make?
This role supports Think Tenacity Events and Free Therapy Team to continue providing FREE counselling and mental health support for our members from the Black community.
This volunteering role will help our nonprofit organisation develop FREE ENTRY EVENTS whilst driving the future success of mission of non-profit to educate and raise awareness of Black mental health issues in the community.
What are we looking for?
Skills / Experience
- minimum three years experience.
- strong numerical and analytical skills.
- high organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- effective interpersonal skills for mentoring
- high written and verbal communication
- ability to stay calm working under pressure
- flexible and solution focussed when managing deadlines
- must have proactive approach to share new ideas
- self-motivated to work Independently and remotely but can adapt to be a team player
- ability to use WhatsApp for event team communications

We're looking for an experienced Accountant to support a FREE ENTRY Online Financial Education Mentorship One-Off Project for our Think Tenacity Members. This is because when people are experiencing mental health difficulties, managing personal finances can become challenging and financial management is often neglected.
Do you have the skills to create simple spreadsheets for
- Personal Financial Forecast/Budgeting
- Emergency Fund
Improving economic and financial literacy is critical to break barriers for ethnic minority communities. Think Tenacity Academy CIC is established to tackle health inequalities by providing culturally sensitive therapy delivered by Black therapists for Black marginalised communities.

You will report into the CEO and Think Tenacity Senior Management Team. Can you volunteer and share guidance on
- Practical mentorship rather than formal financial advice.
- Devise & deliver a 90 mins online/Zoom mentoring session how to use above spreadsheets
- Explain what is financial forecasting in clear, accessible language.
- Share the essential purpose of an emergency fund.
- Help create simple powerpoint slides that Think Tenacity Members can use after the session.
Minimum 3 years experience in private or public sector? Expected start date End of September 2026 (100% Remote Working) using Google Drive and WhatsApp
