A well-established and growing independent accountancy practice in Stanmore is looking for an experienced Accountant to join the team on an initial 5-month contract.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced qualified Accountant who has been working in Accountancy Practice in the UK to join initially on a Fixed Term contract with a view to becoming permanent.
Due to the expansion of the business my client is looking for an experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant / Client Manager who can join the team quickly. The business is growing so the hope would be for the role to convert to permanent in the New Year.

The Role
- Preparation of statutory and management accounts.
- Corporation and personal tax compliance.
- VAT returns and general accounting work.
- Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
- Liaising directly with clients and handling accounting queries.
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
- Previous UK accountancy practice experience.
- Strong accounts and tax knowledge.
- Confident working independently and dealing with clients.
- Able to commit to a 5-month contract and make an immediate impact.
