Position: Financial Systems Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $90 - $170/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated accounting output for technical accuracy, including treatments, calculations, and journal entries.
- Review, analyze, and annotate financial statements and reconciliations, identifying misstatements and providing correct treatments.
- Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks.
- Apply written rubrics and grading guidelines when rating or ranking model output, flagging ambiguous cases as needed.
- Contribute real-world accounting scenarios and reference answers reflecting actual practices in modern financial systems.
- Deliver clear, actionable written feedback to project and model teams to support ongoing system improvement.

Requirements
- Have strong relevant experience in financial accounting, month-end close, corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management or cost accounting, or FP&A.
- Proven experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, or financial statements.
- Hands-on work with financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, or Workday.
- Familiarity with finance tools such as BlackLine, Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Avalara, Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Demonstrated, prior paid experience in Human Data support for AI training (annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading).
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
