The Opportunity
Our client is a rapidly growing renewable energy business with an expanding portfolio of assets across the UK. We are seeking an ambitious and commercially-minded accounting professional who is eager to build a career within the energy and infrastructure sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to gain exposure beyond traditional finance roles. You will have the chance to support projects through their full lifecycle, from development and financial close through construction and into operational asset management.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and developing finance processes as the business continues to grow. This position offers broad exposure across management accounting, financial accounting, project accounting, statutory reporting, and renewable energy investment structures.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, and be able to work in the Edinburgh office for at least 3 days per week.
About You
We are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop alongside a growing business.
Essential
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years' experience within an accounting or finance role.
- Studying towards, recently qualified, or qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ICAS.
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and core accounting principles.
- Experience preparing reconciliations, journals, and month-end reporting.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to improve processes.
