The Role

This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing financial accounting, management reporting and business partnering support
  • Assist Finance Manager to review/prepare timely and high-quality monthly management reporting packs, balance sheet reconciliations and other ad hoc financial information prepared by outsource agent
  • Preparation of monthly cash flow forecast and variance analysis (budget vs actuals)
  • Assist with preparation of tax reports including VAT, corporation tax and ensure HMRC compliance
  • Preparation of full year financial reporting and statutory reporting for the group of companies
  • Assist Finance Manager to ensure adherence to financial controls and accuracy of transactions processing
  • Assist in the success of an ongoing finance system implementation
  • Drive process improvements across the company
  • Create and drive a robust financial controls framework
  • Ownership of Property and Entity Accounts for All assets under management, including cash flow
  • Assisting the Finance Team with other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
  • Ensuring internal control and compliance

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant (or equivalent) with up to 2 years post qualification experience.
  • Good level of proficiency in MS Excel
  • Good knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant financial experience in the real estate industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interface with colleagues internally and on a cross border/remote basis and third parties
