Role Purpose

At Morrisons, we’re more than just numbers – we’re about driving real commercial success. This isn't just about reporting figures; it’s about getting under the skin of the business, challenging decisions, and influencing strategy.

This dynamic business partnering role is central to the profitability of our rapidly growing Online partnerships (Deliveroo, JustEat, UberEats, Wholesale Immediacy and Convenience Immediacy). You will be responsible for full end-to-end P&L reporting and analysis, covering key areas such as sales, margin, marketing, and commission costs.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Weekly sales/margin reporting and analysis.
  • Providing your stakeholders with commentary on trade for the previous week.
  • Month end preparation including the processing of journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Providing variance analysis and trending techniques to measure performance against budget, forecasts and business cases.
  • Maintaining a high level of financial control within your area.
  • Identifying financial risks and opportunities for departments, as well as areas to speed up and simplify.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues across the site and the rest of the Finance team.
  • Take a pivotal role in expediting the centralisation of controls and reporting, actively driving process improvements and laying the groundwork for a more efficient, future-proofed team structure.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
