Discover the Role
Join us as an Accountant and become a part of our outstanding Accounting team, both professionally and personally. You will perform exciting tasks in the field of accounting and taxation according to Hungarian regulations, but for an international clientele. Additionally, you will gain experience in technological innovations through various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Full scope accounting of our clients' financial transactions (AP, AR, bank, petty cash, and miscellaneous items), performing financial tasks, and preparing month-end reports.
- Communication with our domestic and multinational clients.
- Active participation in general ledger reconciliation, month-end and year-end closings, preparing and submitting MNB statistics and KSH reports.
- Preparing monthly and annual tax calculations and tax returns, contacting the authorities on general tax matters.
- Active participation in the preparation of financial statements and supporting audits.
- Working together with senior and team leader colleagues.

Key Requirements
- Thanks to your minimum 2-3 years of experience and specialized education, you are up-to-date with Hungarian accounting and tax regulations.
- You communicate excellently and establish and maintain relationships with clients.
- You are open to learning new systems and interested in process automation.
- You are eager to use your existing English skills in written (and possibly verbal) communication with clients. Fluent Hungarian is essential.
- You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
- You have MS Office knowledge and experience with accounting software.
- You manage deadlines excellently, even when handling multiple projects simultaneously.
