About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Accountant within a 5-person team, you will take ownership of the accounting for one or several group entities.

You will manage a wide range of accounting matters across different entity structures and regulatory frameworks (non-profit associations and commercial companies).

If you are autonomous, proactive, and initiative-driven, your responsibilities will be as varied as:

  • Third-Party & Operational Accounting:

    • Manage third-party accounting (Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable).
    • Prepare sales invoicing, monitor debt collection for client accounts, and handle intercompany balances.
    • Monitor and verify supplier expenses (purchase commitments, invoice matching and approval), and prepare payment runs.
    • Oversee and audit employee expense claims.
  • Accounting Management & Tax Compliance:

    • Perform general ledger and sub-ledger journal entries.
    • Prepare and submit statutory tax filings (VAT, Corporate Income Tax).
    • Prepare annual financial statements and statutory audit documentation.
    • Ensure full compliance with statutory accounting, tax, and administrative obligations.
  • Month-End Closing & Financial Reporting:

    • Execute month-end account closures and bank reconciliations to produce monthly management reporting in close alignment with the Finance Department.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit (Master CCA, Business School, or equivalent EU degree).
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a corporate accounting department or at an accounting/audit firm. Experience in French and/or international accounting is a strong advantage.
  • Proactive, autonomous, rigorous, adaptable, and solution-oriented with strong initiative.
  • Professional fluency in both spoken and written English. Other languages (French, German) are a strong plus.
  • Passionate about joining a dynamic, international team, supporting business growth, and making a positive global impact.
