About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and detail-oriented Accounting Administration Clerk to join the finance team on one of the UK's largest civil engineering projects. Working closely with the Project Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate reconciliation of supplier invoices, purchase orders and delivery records, supporting the financial control of a major infrastructure programme. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance administration or accounts payable experience looking to develop their career within a large-scale construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform three-way matching of supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Review invoices for pricing, quantity and delivery discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Raise and amend Purchase Orders within SAP.
- Maintain accurate records of site deliveries in collaboration with operational teams.
- Liaise with Procurement, Finance, Logistics and Project Teams to ensure timely invoice processing.
- Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure financial records are accurate, compliant and fully traceable.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with company financial procedures.
- Support continuous improvement of finance administration processes.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within Accounts Payable, Finance Administration or Invoice Reconciliation.
- Experience carrying out three-way invoice matching.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach.
