At RSM, our Consulting team brings together specialists across business transformation, forensic, deal services, restructuring, finance function support, and risk and governance to help clients achieve their strategic objectives.
Through data-driven insights, practical advice, and high-quality delivery, we support organisations in navigating complex challenges, driving growth, and building sustainable businesses.
As part of this, our Finance Function Support team helps clients optimise their finance operations through flexible outsourced and insourced solutions, backed by deep technical, industry, and digital expertise.
Due to continued growth and success in the Real Estate sector, our London team is expanding and seeking ambitious Supervisors to play a key role in our next phase of development.
Role Overview
You will make an impact by
- Acting as an extension of our client’s finance team.
- Overseeing bookkeeping, reconciliations, management reporting, VAT returns, and statutory accounts preparation, acting as the key contact for auditors throughout the year-end process.
- Supporting clients with finance function optimisation, including outsourced/insourced accounting services, system implementations, and temporary on-site or virtual resource requirements.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication, meetings, and trusted advisory support.
- Managing the commercial aspects of client portfolios, including cost analysis, billing, debtor monitoring, and contributing to client pitches and fee proposals.
- Supervising and developing junior team members, while contributing to wider team initiatives, training programmes, and continuous improvement activities.

What We Are Looking For
- ACA/ACCA part or fully qualified accountant with at least three years’ experience in finance function support, management accounting, or outsourcing within professional practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS, VAT compliance, and accounting systems, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to adapt to new technology.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
- Experienced in supervising and developing junior team members, with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client relationship-building skills.
- Collaborative, ambitious, and committed to continuous learning, with a keen interest in developing expertise within the Real Estate sector and delivering value-added finance support services.
