Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Becoming proficient in our Financial Management System through accurate data input.
- Developing your analytical skills by raising and working within spreadsheets to support the function in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Gaining valuable experience working with both Microsoft and Google productivity suites.
- Playing a key role in financial planning by supporting accountants in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and year-end final accounts.
- Managing day-to-day transactions by inputting purchase orders and processing invoices for payment in compliance with Council policies.
- Expanding your knowledge by assisting across various parts of the finance function, including providing valuable financial information to Service Managers.
- Embracing our core ways of working by demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and a passion for delivering a high-quality service for our residents.
- Contributing to the smooth running of the team through administrative support.
- Expanding your knowledge by providing cover for the Treasury Management team when needed.
