About the Role
Are you a digital-first Bookkeeper who enjoys working with modern, cloud-based accounting tools? We're looking for someone to join our growing team, supporting a wide range of clients with their day-to-day finance and bookkeeping needs using efficient, digital systems.
You'll play a key role in streamlining financial processes and helping clients make faster, smarter decisions.
Day-to-day, you'll:
- Manage client bookkeeping and accounts using cloud-based tools
- Match purchase orders with invoices and reconcile accounts
- Coordinate online bank feeds and process payments
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Record financial transactions accurately and maintain up-to-date records
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting queries

About You
You'll be tech-confident, proactive, and keen to use digital tools to work smarter. You'll bring:
- Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience in practice or industry
- Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software and digital tools (Dext experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, VAT, and payroll compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive, independent problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues
