Accounts Assistant | £33,000–£35,000 | Watford

Full-Time Office Based – Not Hybrid

Looking to take the next step in your finance career?

We’re recruiting an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join an established business with a portfolio of recognised global brands.

This is a full-time, office-based role in Watford. Please note, this position is NOT hybrid.

You’ll join a busy finance team, gaining broad exposure across the function and working closely with the Financial Controller.

  • Weekly cash flow and payment runs
  • Sales and purchase invoice processing on Sage
  • Balance Sheet and VAT reconciliations
  • Multi-currency cashbook updates
  • Month-end and quarter-end support
  • Budgeting and cash-flow preparation
  • Excel reporting and ad-hoc finance projects

About You

  • 2+ years’ finance/accounting experience
  • Studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA
  • Strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge
  • Confident Excel skills
  • Accurate, organised and comfortable working to deadlines
