WE ARE HIRING – ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT | LONDON, LEYTON
LDN Financial Limited is expanding its team, and we are looking for an experienced, organised, and motivated Accounting Assistant who is eager to develop their career within a growing accountancy practice.
📍 Location: 252 High Road, Leyton, London E10 5PW
💷 Salary: £27,600 - £31,200 per year
🕘 Working Hours: Full-Time
🏢 Position: Office-Based
🇷🇴🇬🇧 Language Skills: Romanian and English language skills – essential
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a UK accountancy practice
- Experience in bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Knowledge of Self Assessment, VAT, and Making Tax Digital (MTD)
- Experience using Xero or other accounting software
- Strong organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities

Responsibilities Include:
- Bookkeeping and bank account reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of Self Assessment and VAT returns
- Payroll processing
- Communicating with HMRC and Companies House
- Client onboarding and AML compliance checks
- Maintaining strong client relationships and communication
- Supporting the daily operations of the practice
- Contributing to social media content relating to tax, accounting, and business topics
- Assisting and supporting senior accountants with the preparation of accounts, tax returns, and client files
