Your new role
As Accounting Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering a high-quality service across a diverse portfolio of businesses. You'll review statutory accounts, oversee management accounts and compliance work, and act as a trusted point of contact for clients on a variety of accounting and business matters. Alongside this, you'll support the development of junior team members through coaching and mentoring whilst working closely with Managers and Partners on more complex assignments and advisory projects.

This role offers the opportunity to move beyond pure compliance work and become a genuine business adviser to your clients, helping them navigate challenges, identify opportunities and achieve their goals.
What You'll Need To Succeed
You'll be ACA or ACCA qualified and have gained experience within a UK accountancy practice environment. Previous experience managing client relationships, reviewing accounts and supporting junior staff will be highly beneficial. You'll be commercially minded, organised and confident communicating with business owners and stakeholders at all levels. Most importantly, you'll enjoy building relationships, taking ownership of your work and contributing positively to a team environment.
