We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our the Everest Air finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building customer relationships, and contributing to the success of a growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer invoices, accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve billing queries and invoice discrepancies, liaising with customers, vendors and internal departments as required.
  • Review and process invoices using AI-enabled systems and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and ensure all invoices and payments are correctly accounted for.
  • Meet daily and monthly finance deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with audits, excise tax documentation and other compliance-related activities.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance team, including cover for colleagues when required.
  • Participate in training, team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an accounting, finance, bookkeeping, billing or administrative role.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is desirable.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
