Accounting Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator with strong experience and hands-on involvement in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Experience with payroll is a plus. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the close process, and ensuring timely processing of payables and receivables. The ideal candidate combines technical accounting knowledge with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage vendor records and resolve discrepancies or billing issues
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs
- Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payments

Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Generate and distribute customer invoices
- Apply cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts
- Monitor AR aging and follow up on past-due accounts
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
Payroll
- Process weekly/semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees
- Review and verify deductions, bonuses, and other payroll adjustments
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, accuracy, and efficiency

Audit & Compliance
- Assist external audits by providing required documentation
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Accounting
- 2-5 years of accounting experience, including AP, AR and payroll responsibilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
