We’re working with a Top 100 accountancy practice in Winchester that is continuing to grow quickly and is now looking for an Accounts Manager to strengthen its team. The Role
You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of clients while working closely with senior management and partners. Your role will include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and other clients, advising them on a range of accounting matters
- Reviewing statutory accounts
- Reviewing corporation tax returns and other compliance work
- Managing deadlines, workloads and client queries
- Building strong relationships and providing ongoing advice to clients
- Reviewing work completed by junior and semi-senior accountants
- Coaching and supporting less experienced members of the team
- Getting involved in more technical and advisory work as your experience develops

We’re looking for someone with solid experience gained within a UK accountancy practice who is comfortable managing client relationships and reviewing work. Candidates should be ACA or ACCA qualified. QBE can be considered.
