Career Progression | Client Ownership | Route into Senior Leadership

You'll manage your own portfolio of clients, overseeing their accounts and tax requirements while acting as a trusted point of contact and supporting the wider accounts team.

What's on Offer?

  • Genuine long-term progression into senior leadership
  • Opportunity to take ownership of a varied client portfolio
  • Supportive and approachable accountancy practice
  • Direct exposure to partners and senior decision-makers
  • Increasing responsibility as you develop
  • Opportunity to further strengthen your technical and commercial skills
  • Friendly team where your contribution will be noticed and valued
  • Competitive salary depending on experience

We're working with an established accountancy practice in Woking that's looking for an experienced Client Manager to become an important part of its team.

This is particularly well suited to someone who doesn't just want another portfolio management role. Our client is looking for someone who can develop with the firm, take on increasing responsibility and progress towards a senior leadership position longer term.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
