Sureserve Overview

Sureserve provide trusted high-quality solutions that focus on energy efficiency to create warm, safe and compliant homes. The result is an improved quality of life for residents.

With nationwide reach, regional and local relationships, a commitment to excellent client service and industry-leading expertise, we are set up to be a trusted partner for now and the future.

Overview Of Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounting Manager to join the Finance team at Sureserve Compliance Electrical.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the financial records across multiple group entities, supporting month-end reporting, balance sheet control, statutory compliance, and process improvement initiatives. You will contribute to the timely delivery of management reporting so that Operations can review performance well in advance of month-end close.

This role is ideally suited to a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) looking to gain exposure and contribute to a growing and evolving finance function. You have previously managed a finance department, are fully capable of ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies with minimal support, and are looking to gain exposure to management and financial accounting in a more significant way. You will learn from an experienced Financial Controller, while immediately adding value by working with them to review the workflows and processes within the accounts department. Ultimately you want to gain enough additional experience to eventually move into a Financial Controller or Finance Manager role, growing with the role as key opportunities become available.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
