We are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected independent accountancy and business advisory firm based in Cheltenham as they continue to grow.

This firm has established an outstanding reputation across the professional services sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking practice where you'll work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing accounting, advisory, and audit support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, taking ownership of their accounting, compliance, and business advisory requirements.
  • Review accounts, financial statements, and ensure reporting is completed accurately and in line with relevant regulations.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to day-to-day queries and building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Provide audit support where required.
  • Support and contribute to a range of advisory projects, including business restructures, mergers, acquisitions, valuations, and succession planning.
  • Play an active role within the management team, contributing to operational improvements, strategic initiatives, and departmental objectives.

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Accounts prep or review experience
  • Experience working in a UK practice for 4+ years
  • Team and peer leadership skills, including the ability to appraise, motivate, and develop staff
