The Opportunity
A great opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Financial Controller looking for a flexible 9-month FTC with international exposure and a broad remit
We are currently recruiting for an Interim Accounting Manager to join the Group Finance team of a well-established international organisation. This is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility for the financial reporting and operational finance of one of the Group’s key international trading entities, alongside managing a small finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of month-end close and financial reporting for an international entity.
- P&L and balance sheet analysis, reconciliations, and management commentary.
- Managing the statutory reporting process and working closely with external auditors.
- Technical accounting, with a particular focus on IFRS 15 and revenue recognition.
- Line management of two finance team members.
- Oversight of AP, AR, banking, and weekly cash flow.
- Preparation of journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end schedules.
- Partnering with Commercial, Supply Chain, Marketing, and FP&A teams.
- Supporting wider international entities with technical accounting and ad hoc projects.
- Improving financial controls, reporting processes, and month-end procedures.

About You

We’re looking for a qualified accountant who can quickly take ownership and hit the ground running. Ideally, you will have:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
- Strong financial accounting and month-end experience.
- Experience working within an international or multi-entity environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15.
- Experience managing or mentoring finance staff.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to process and control improvements.
