JOB TITLE: Accounting Manager – EMEA

LOCATION: London, United Kingdom

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Permanent

REPORTING TO: Vice President of Global Finance (Hong Kong)

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance team and take responsibility for financial control, reporting and planning across the business.

This is a hands-on role with a strong commercial focus. You will work closely with the Head of EMEA and teams across Retail, Operations, HR and Commercial, providing accurate financial information and helping the business understand its performance.

The role will have a particular focus on our retail operations and international markets, so experience working across multiple countries and/or legal entities would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly and year-end financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Prepare and review P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, provisions and prepayments.
  • Analyse actual results against budget, forecast and prior year, identifying key variances and their underlying drivers.
  • Maintain appropriate financial controls and ensure finance policies and processes are consistently followed.
  • Support statutory accounts, external audits and other financial compliance requirements.
  • Monitor the financial performance of the retail business, including sales, gross margin, staff costs, operating expenses, inventory and store profitability.
  • Work closely with the Head of EMEA and wider business to understand performance, identify trends and provide practical financial insight.
  • Analyse staff costs and headcount against budget and forecast, working closely with HR to understand and explain variances.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate regular forecasting with relevant teams and markets.
  • Work with budget owners to review assumptions, identify financial risks and opportunities, and challenge where appropriate.
  • Prepare financial models and scenario analysis to support commercial decisions, expansion projects and strategic investments.
  • Coordinate financial information across multiple countries and legal entities, ensuring consistent reporting and financial processes across markets.
  • Review multi-currency and intercompany reporting and work with local teams and external providers on accounting, tax and statutory matters.
  • Support the VP of Global Finance and wider business as the company develops its international operations.
  • Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, controls, systems and reporting.
  • Improve management reporting and dashboards to provide clear visibility of business performance.
  • Drive greater consistency, efficiency and automation across the Finance function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
