EMEA Accounting Supervisor
Berkshire (Hybrid Working - 2-3 days in office)
£55,000 per annum
The Opportunity:
We're partnering with a well-established global organisation to recruit an EMEA Accounting Supervisor to join a high-performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
You'll take ownership of statutory reporting across multiple EMEA entities, oversee key financial control activities, and play an important role in developing both processes and people. The position offers strong international exposure, leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to a business that continues to evolve and invest in its finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and review of statutory accounts across multiple EMEA entities.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting requirements, including statutory adjustments from US GAAP to local GAAP.
- Review management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support corporate projects including entity integrations, reorganisations, and process improvements.
- Manage and develop a small team, providing coaching, support, and performance guidance.
- Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of statutory and financial reporting requirements.
- Analyse foreign exchange impacts and support key month-end and year-end activities.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiencies across finance processes and controls.

About You:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong statutory reporting experience, ideally gained across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
- Previous people management or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles, with US GAAP experience advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
- Experience working with auditors and managing key stakeholder relationships.
- Naturally analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Passionate about continuous improvement and developing both systems and people.
