About Finship
Finship is a growing accountancy and finance practice supporting small businesses with their accounts, bookkeeping, payroll and wider finance needs.
We’re looking for a friendly and organised Accounts & Admin Assistant to join the team and support the day-to-day running of the practice.
The Role
This is a varied role combining bookkeeping, payroll and general accountancy practice administration.

- Processing bookkeeping for clients
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Processing payroll
- Assisting with client onboarding
- Preparing and maintaining engagement documentation
- Completing confirmation statements
- Maintaining client records and practice systems
- Supporting with general accountancy practice administration
- Liaising with clients where required
- Helping keep client work organised and up to date
As Finship grows, there may also be opportunities for the role to develop and take on additional responsibilities.

Previous bookkeeping experience is essential.
Experience using QuickBooks Online would be an advantage, as would previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
Working Hours
The role is for 18 hours per week over 3 days.
There can be some flexibility around the days and hours worked, although the working pattern will need to include either a Monday or a Friday.
