Accounts & Administration Coordinator

Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire

Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm

Job type: Permanent, part-time

Salary: £21,000–£23,000 per year, depending on experience

About the role

Goodwins Auto Salvage is looking for an organised and reliable Accounts & Administration Coordinator to support the continued growth of the business.

The role will focus on accounts administration, invoice processing, bookkeeping paperwork and general office support, working closely with management, colleagues and our external accountants.

This is a permanent 30-hour role, Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm, with the potential for additional hours in the future as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

  • Processing supplier and customer invoices, receipts and payments
  • Maintaining accurate bookkeeping and financial records
  • Reconciling bank transactions and matching costs to vehicles, customers or jobs
  • Preparing financial information and supporting paperwork for accountants
  • Monitoring outstanding invoices and helping resolve discrepancies
  • Maintaining organised digital records and supporting general office administration

About you

We are looking for someone who is organised, accurate and comfortable working with numbers, invoices and financial paperwork.

Previous experience in accounts administration, bookkeeping, finance administration or a similar office role would be beneficial.

You should also be confident using spreadsheets and business systems, comfortable speaking with customers and suppliers, and able to manage regular tasks independently.

Automotive experience is not required.
