Accounts & Administration Manager �� Competitive Salary | Professional Services Environment

An established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an organised and proactive Accounts & Administration Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administration or office management professional looking to play a key role within a client-focused and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administrative functions of the practice.
  • Oversee client onboarding, including engagement letters, AML documentation, and due diligence checks.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure systems are kept up to date.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding to enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Monitor compliance deadlines, including accounts, VAT returns, tax returns, and Companies House filings.
  • Coordinate workflows between clients, accountants, and external stakeholders.
  • Support senior leadership with reporting, scheduling, and operational administration.
  • Drive improvements to administrative processes and systems.
  • Supervise and support administrative team members.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, AML regulations, and internal policies.

About You

  • Previous experience in an Administration Manager, Office Manager, or similar role.
  • Experience within an accountancy practice, professional services, or financial services environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM, practice management, or accounting software (such as IRIS, CCH, Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage).
  • Knowledge of AML and compliance requirements would be advantageous.
