Due to continued business growth, we're looking for an experienced Accounts & Administration Manager to take ownership of our accounts and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in the construction industry who enjoys working independently, thrives on accuracy, and wants to play a key role in a successful and expanding business.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts function while supporting the wider administrative operations of the business. This position offers autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
- ✔ Managing day-to-day accounting activities using Sage Accounting
- ✔ General bookkeeping and financial administration
- ✔ Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- ✔ Bank and supplier account reconciliations
- ✔ Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
- ✔ Issuing subcontractor orders
- ✔ Maintaining accurate records of site-specific costs and expenses
- ✔ Supporting the smooth running of the administrative function
- ✔ Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams
What We're Looking For
- ✅ Previous experience within the construction industry (essential)
- ✅ Strong working knowledge of Sage Accounting
- ✅ Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns
- ✅ Excellent bookkeeping and reconciliation skills
- ✅ Strong administrative and organisational skills
- ✅ Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- ✅ High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
