Accounts Administrator
Location: Barnwood, Gloucester Contract: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri (6-months FTC) Salary: Competitive
Main responsibilities
To support the finance department in the delivery of both our accounts payable process in the UK & US.
Accounts Assistant responsibilities
- Supporting in managing the Accounts Payable Inbox
- Posting invoices in our accounts system, Brightpearl, Weekly & Monthly Payment Runs
- Completing daily and monthly bank and credit/Commercial card reconciliations
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts with month-end duties
- Supporting Customer Service with order, payments, and refund queries
- Managing aged debtors and creditors
- Monitoring Bank balance and intercompany transfers
- Enter Foreign Invoices and exchange rates
- Setting up Suppliers and Setting up Accounts with new suppliers
- Using Digital platforms i.e. Shopify, PayPal, and Stripe. Reconciling, taking payment, and allocating amending errors where applicable.
- Provide cover for absence to the USA Company
