Accounts Administrator

£30-32k | Permanent | Hybrid (2 days in London office)

Altum are supporting an international membership body in the search for a proactive and motivated Accounts Administrator. This would be a busy role in the finance team ensuring accurate posting across the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables function and supporting the wider team at the Association. The role will operate on a hybrid function with 2 days in their Central London office (Thursday & Friday).

Responsibilities

  • Performing bank/cashbook reconciliations and investigating unreconciled items
  • Uploading relevant payments and processing credit card transactions
  • Act as a key point of contact across the organisation to investigate and resolve outstanding balances
  • Processing all payments and monitoring bank accounts
  • Maintaining the finance email inboxes and escalate any client queries
  • Ensuring accuracy of all transactions processed
  • Coding and posting of all purchase and sales ledger transactions
  • Supporting with the organisation's Annual Conference on various financial matters

The Ideal Candidate

  • Ideally someone working towards a finance qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA etc)
  • Have some experience of working in a financial function, ideally within Accounts Payable
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be a proactive and motivated individual
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be flexible and willing to learn new skills
