Accounts Administrator
π Grandholm Village, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen
π° Β£30,000 per annum
π Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
π Full-Time | Permanent | Office Based
Spectis Robotics and Hydropulsion are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our team at Grandholm Village, Bridge of Don.
This is a varied role supporting two growing technology businesses. The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of accounting, administration, and logistical duties, working closely with management and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of both companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising and processing purchase orders within Sage
- Goods receipt and processing of supplier invoices
- Managing weekly supplier payment runs
- Processing employee expenses
- Preparing sales invoices and customer statements
- Monitoring and controlling aged debtors
- Reporting on accounts payable and receivable
- Supporting month-end accounts and VAT submissions
- Maintaining accounting records and internal spreadsheets
- Arranging incoming and outgoing freight shipments
- Managing import and export documentation
- Updating stock records and preparing stock journals
- Assisting with compliance and management system requirements
- Supporting reception and general office administration activities

About You
You will have:
- Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent numeracy and data-entry accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- The ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience using Sage 50
- Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
- Experience supporting import/export administration
