Accounts Administrator

Spectis Robotics and Hydropulsion are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our team at Grandholm Village, Bridge of Don.

This is a varied role supporting two growing technology businesses. The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of accounting, administration, and logistical duties, working closely with management and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of both companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raising and processing purchase orders within Sage
  • Goods receipt and processing of supplier invoices
  • Managing weekly supplier payment runs
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Preparing sales invoices and customer statements
  • Monitoring and controlling aged debtors
  • Reporting on accounts payable and receivable
  • Supporting month-end accounts and VAT submissions
  • Maintaining accounting records and internal spreadsheets
  • Arranging incoming and outgoing freight shipments
  • Managing import and export documentation
  • Updating stock records and preparing stock journals
  • Assisting with compliance and management system requirements
  • Supporting reception and general office administration activities

About You

You will have:

  • Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent numeracy and data-entry accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience using Sage 50
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
  • Experience supporting import/export administration
