Job Title: Accounts Advisor
Location: Bury (hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Service Care are delighted to be working with a long standing client of ours as they look to recruit an experienced Accounts Advisor to join their growing practice. You will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, providing accounting and financial support.
This role is ideal for someone with practice experience who is looking for a modern and growing practice, with plenty of career progression and personal development.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for your own portfolio of clients and processing large bookkeeping jobs
- Assist with the training of more junior members of staff and reviewing of their work
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of larger sole trader, partnership accounts and limited company accounts
- Preparation of Corporation Tax computations including capital allowance computation
- Assisting on audit assignments and completing own audit sections
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required

What you will have:
- Minimum 3 years experience within an accountancy practice
- Moderate working knowledge of UK GAAP
- Good working knowledge of Personal Income Tax and dividends
- High attention to detail
