The Role
An exciting opportunity to be involved in the development and delivery of our bookkeeping and VAT function and also help influence the direction and structure of the team going forward. Supporting a team, you will be joining a progressive and forward-thinking department. This role offers a talented Bookkeeper the opportunity to advance your career within a dynamic business.
- Complete bookkeeping using clients' software.
- Prepare information for VAT returns using in-house cloud software.
- Prepare income and expense analysis for clients.
- Liaise with clients to complete filings and answer queries.
- Work with clients on cloud accounting software to manage their finances.
- Plan and allocate work within the department.

Key Accountabilities
This role involves working with clients from multiple sectors to deliver seamless virtual finance service.
- Excellent understanding of digital accounting solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills in accounting contexts
- Experience working within an Accountancy Practice
- Strong understanding of VAT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident liaising with clients directly
- Comfortable working with cloud accounting software packages (e.g., Xero).
- Naturally interested in using technology to enhance client experiences and simplify processes.
