Accounts and Finance Supervisor (Xero)
Atlas NextWave is supporting a well-established marine and offshore services organisation in the search for an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join their Aberdeen-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records, and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance administration using Xero
- Maintain accurate sales and purchase ledgers
- Process invoices, supplier payments, banking transactions and reconciliations
- Support credit control activities and manage outstanding balances
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end processes, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Produce management information and financial reports
- Resolve customer and supplier finance queries professionally
- Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and reporting

What We're Looking For
- Strong practical experience with Xero (essential)
- Previous experience in an Accounts Supervisor, Senior Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and credit control
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
