Accounts & Supply Chain Assistant

Abingdon, Oxfordshire | Permanent | £27,250 - £32,250 | Full-time (part-time considered)

Looking for a role where finance meets operations?

At Infinitesima, we're building advanced metrology systems used by the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers to produce next-generation computer chips. Our technology helps enable the devices people rely on every day, from smartphones to AI infrastructure.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Accounts & Supply Chain Administrator to join our team in Abingdon. This is more than a typical accounts support role. You'll sit at the heart of our Finance and Supply Chain teams, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately while gaining exposure to purchasing, inventory management, and business systems.

What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of a key business process that keeps our suppliers paid accurately and on time:

  • Match supplier invoices against approved purchase orders and goods receipts
  • Verify invoice accuracy before payment
  • Prepare and maintain verified payment lists for Finance
  • Post and code invoices within Xero
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices processed
  • Act as a key link between the Finance and Supply Chain teams
  • Support process improvements as the business continues to scale

What we're looking for

You might already have experience within accounts payable, purchasing administration, or finance support. Equally, you could be someone with strong numerical and administrative skills who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
